Forgotten Paws Animal Rescue

 Current Emergencies....

Lil' Ralphie is one of our senior residents that now has an eye emergency. He just all of a sudden had a bulging, hazy, teary eye. Eyes can be quite the emergency in animals. We will get it checked out and do what we can to save it and his site...How could he be the house umpire with out that!!! He disciplines anyone not behaving..in other words..noisy!!! He is recovering very nicely and thanks to all of you we can prolong his site for a couple more years we hope!!!

Poor Dear Sweet Baby James....A broken elbow and a broken leg. And not even a year old. He is getting surgery soon and we will help him mend but soon he will need a forever home.. OMG... he got 2 separate surgeries, and we have to literally sit on him to keep him from running and playing. He is on the mend nicely and adopted by a wonderful family!!! He has lots of animal and people friends now!!!

Lucy is in the hospital with lethargy, vomit, diarrhea and a very low WBC. She tests Negative for parvo. She may have a very bad viral infection or a cancer but we just don't know yet. Please help our vet bill.

R.I.P my dear...

Yes..her eyeball is hanging out of the socket...But as it take a village we need money to help with the vet bills. We could not just sit back and imagine her getting killed. She wants to live...all love and kisses even going through this pain. Any and all donations are needed. We don't care how small.. $5.00 can be pain medication for a few more days..Thank you from the bottom of out paws...Her eye had to be removed but she doesn't seem to care. She now has a wonderful new mom to love her forever!!!

Heidi is only 4 months old and not feeling well. We will get her all better with real good medication, food, rest and love. We can use a little help as we all know how expensive the good drugs are..Thank you

Ladybug is a funny, spry healthy 7-8 year old Chihuahua rescued from a local freeway by a wonderful lady. She asked us to take her into our rescue and how could we say no!!! She has a huge mass on her abdomen that needs to be removed. PLEASE donate through our website or chip in to make this happen now..IF this is a hernia it could be deadly....we need to find out...The mass turned out to be a hernia of her uterus and her bladder. Two surgeries later and she is a bouncing lovely middle aged vibrant Chi!!! Thank you

Timothy is just a wee 4.5 pound very sick little man. We will get him out but really need some financial help just to get him to a vet that boards so I can move some other pups around to get him to my home and care for him..He very much needs the correct kind of medication.....not whatever is on the shelter shelf...They are all so sick there but get better and find loving homes..Thank you very much. Timothy's medication was switched, some IV, we got him to eat finally and he spent less than a week at the vet and is now doing much better. He is being adopted by a wonderful lady!!

Bonny Blue is loosing her eye....Now we know why she was dumped at the shelter...and her other eye needs the cataract removed. Please help us help her. She is on pain meds but we need a permanent fix.. With the wonderful donations we were able to get Bonnie Blue's eye examined by an expert and treatment started. She may loose the other one at some point but we can get her a prosthetic one so people will look at her. Her new adoptive family doesn't really care and we are giving them a young dog as a buddy for BB...Thanks to all of you
